Kevin Pasco: Article Marketing Experiment

Alright, let’s do some trial and error. In the past I haven’t submitted very many articles, I’d say under 10. But, recently I’ve been thinking that it might be worth it to try it out and generate some traffic to the Ultimate Affiliate System.

The Experiment:

Here’s the experiment. Over the next 10 days I’m going to write one article and submit it to 20 directories each day. I’m guessing this is going to take me around an hour to an hour and a half per day. After the ten days I’ll have 200 articles posted and 200 backlinks to the Ultimate Affiliate System (for SEO purposes). Actually, it might be a little longer because I’ll have to wait for the articles to be approved but once that’s done I’ll have 200 of them.

In the Ultimate Affiliate System I talked about how if you posted 200 articles and each one got 1 view per day then that would come out to 72,000 visits per year to your site. That’s the goal here. If you’re thinking I made up the 72,000 views that’s completely wrong. My friend Jim Edwards did it all on his own and I’m going to try it out too. Hopefully it works for me! If it does expect to see a lot more on how I did it and article marketing in general on this blog.

It all starts tomorrow:

Starting Friday July 3rd I will start the experiment and of course I’ll keep you posted on everything that goes down. I’m hoping for a huge surge in traffic but we’ll see what happens in the next few days. Stay tuned!
